October 2024

Let's remember to be thankful for all the good things we have
and the opportunities that are given to us.

Remember to be kind and encourage others
as much as you can during these difficult times!

Remember to be thankful for the natural abilities you have and use them to help others!

Let's pray that God will pour out His love over our city and over our country.

Let's pray that God help us to accept one another and that the First Nations receive fair compensation for all the wrongs done to them.

Let's remember to be good neighbours!

What we are praying for:

God, help our government to be sensitive to the needs of the people in the First Nations. Grant them the wisdom in their communication with them and how to meet their needs. Grant the First Nations wisdom in dealing with the Canadian Government and help them to heal. Bring enlightenment to our nation on the history of the First Nation peoples and how we should be reconciled.

God, bring peace and healing among all people in our city. Help people to turn from violence and accept your love in their hearts. Help our governments to solve homelessness and drug addiction across Canada.

God, bring peace between all nations in the world. Help the world leaders to stop fighting and work together for peaceful solutions. Bring your conviction, bring your vision of what the world should be for all people.

Soften peoples' hearts toward you, great and small throughout all nations. Bring your salvation and healing!

Scriptures and meditations:

Luke 10: 36-37. Which of these three do you think was a
neighbour to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Galatians 3: 26-29. So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Thank you for praying with us!
