What we are praying for:

God, we pray for the indigenous people of Canada affected by the Residential Schools. Let there be justice. Help those who lost loved ones and those traumatized to forgive and to heal. May our government know the best way for restitution and the wisdom to implement it. Help all our people to understand our shared history and turn to your loving ways.

God, Help everyone to live in peace on our planet. Help us to solve systemic racism, and discrimination against religions and those of the LGBTQ2S+ community. May everyone who has been persecuted wrongly get the compensation and healing they deserve. May we experience a real heart felt change of attitude towards those of minority groups throughout our nations.

God, help all nations to stop the pandemic and find cures for those with lasting side effects from the virus and from the vaccines. Bring your healing to all nations. Bring us to wholeness and help us to recognize your voice.

This month we remember the Indigenous People in Canada affected by the Indian Residential Schools

and the Blacks in Tulsa, Oklahoma affected by the race massacre.

June is PRIDE Month in Toronto, Ontario

PRIDE is really about fighting for the rights of all people

no matter their race, religion or sexuality!

What we are praying for:

God, thank you that the survivors of the Tulsa Massacre have been acknowledged. May they get the restitution they deserve. May the racial injustices done to all people be recognized and proper restitution be given. May the systemic racism be stopped and may we experience a real heart felt change of attitude towards those of minority groups throughout our nations.

What we are praying for:

God, we pray for those who have lost loved ones due to disease, accident, acts of nature or acts of violence.

Please open their hearts to your love and forgiveness and help them to have the courage to live in honour of those they lost.

Help those injured to have the courage to face life's challenges and know they are loved.

May they get the help and encouragement they need.

May those who have lost their home find a better place and have the strength to adapt.
Help our health care system provide the help needed to those suffering mental illness.

Help everyone to recognize those in distress and reach out to them before they become a danger to themselves or others.

Scriptures and meditations:

2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Philippians 4:6-7.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

⁷Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:16-17.

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.

¹⁷Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

Let the Easter Story lift your spirit!

Jesus showed us how to live. He died for you and me.

Death could not hold him and he rose to life!

Those who believe in Jesus and are loving like him will be raised to life also!

No one can do this on their own. Ask for God's Holy Spirit to help and you will receive!

The key is to let God's love in and then it will be revealed to you all that is true!

What we are praying for:

God, pour out your Spirit over all people so they will know you love them! Help us to love each other and let your ways be our guide.

God, help all charitable organizations to find ways to keep raising funds for the needy. Help our gov't make the right decisions that will help our economy and keep everyone safe.

God, help everyone who is afraid to feel your peace. Restore the mental health of our nation.

God, have mercy on us and help us to change our ways to those that will bring healing to our planet and to our beings.

Scriptures and meditations:

John 3:16. God loved the world so much that He gave His own son to die for us, so that anyone who believed in him would not die but be raised to eternal life to live with Him forever!

Romans 8:11. The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead,

He will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you!

Jeremiah 17: 7,8. Those who trust God are like trees planted by the river. They are not bothered by hard times. They keep producing good fruit.

Psalm 23. God is always close beside me. He brings me to safe, quiet places where I am refreshed!

Matthew 11: 28-30. Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls."

What we are praying for:

God, help our neighbours to awaken to your love in their hearts. Help them to remember the spiritual part of their beings and make the right choices to nurture their spirits and grow in your ways. Bring peace between all groups of people and bring your peace to every neighbourhood.

God, bring peace to all the countries in conflict. May diplomacy be upheld and violence be stopped between each nation. Bring peace within each nation. Make the way for all civilians to be safe. May children all over the world be protected even in places of war. Help those in charge to make all schools safe. May all children have the chance for good education in a safe accepting environment.

God, we pray that cities provide proper shelters and warming centers for the homeless. Grant those in charge the wisdom to know what has to be done to provide for the needs of the homeless. Help them to solve the opioid crisis and provide safe places for those addicted to drugs.

God, help all countries to work together to stop the pandemic and solve the problems it created. Pour out your Spirit and help people to turn to you in their times of need. Bring your peace, your salvation to every home.
