We could remember to be thankful for our lives in all circumstances,

And show love to others by acts of kindness.

and the sunshine brings life again!

What we are praying for:

God forgive us our selfishness. You hear our groans, our cries! Please help us to hear your voice, Please pour out your Spirit. Fill us with your love that we may know you! Help the world governments to work together for peace and help them stop the problems of climate change, disease and poverty.

Help us all to take better care of the planet and of each other. Thank you God for hearing our prayers, Amen.

Scriptures and meditations:

Ephesians 3:16-17. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

Roman's 8:16. The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

1 John 1:7. But if we are living in the light of God’s presence, just as Christ does, then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from every sin.

Daniel 12:3. And those who are wise—the people of God—shall shine as brightly as the sun’s brilliance, and those who turn many to righteousness will glitter like stars forever.

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience."
- Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, S.J.

There is great darkness over the world still today,

God came to bring light and peace,

It's our stubbornness and the decisions of those hungry

for power that change the planet for the worst!

Each of us must shine our light,

doing the best we can to show love and kindness,

that will triumph over the wrong in our world!

Remember to pray for your family, neighbours and friends
all the while loving them with your own unique talents!

What we are praying for:

God, forgive our selfishness and help us to live together in peace, each and every home, community, town, city, province, state and country! Lead people's hearts every where to seek you that you may fill them with your presence, your love, that they may know that you are real and are loving! Help us to be loving like you!

God bring peace between all nations. Raise up people who will follow your wisdom,
your compassion to know the ways to bring peace and help to all those in need.

God, help the nations to work together to end the pandemic.
Guide them in wisdom to solve the problem of disease and poverty all over the world.
May every country have the help they need to solve these issues.

God, help us to be good neighbours and reach those around us with your love!
Watch over our community and our city. Help those in charge to make wise decisions to
encourage peace between all groups of people.
Help us to be respectful and understanding of each other!
May we learn to celebrate our differences
in culture, art and music!

Scriptures and meditations:

Matthew 1: 21. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

Ephesians 1: 9-10. God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth.

John 10: 10.
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

John 3: 16-17. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Romans 5:5. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Thanks for praying with us!

All the best to you and yours!!

Remember November 2021

We are light, we are love!

Remember that we all come from a place of love,

where there is no difference between us,

where there is peace and hope and faith in each other!

Being Kind, Empty Hands Music, click here!

Remember that you do belong!

No matter your religion, your sexual orientation or gender identity!

You have the ability in you to give love, receive love and connect to the creation to know who you are!

All creation is wired to help us - not condemn us!!

Everything we need is there for us - we just need to ask!

Remember our vets and those in the military still working hard so we can live in peace.

Remember their families and those bereaved.

 What we are praying for:

God, protect our vets from violence, protect all our men and
women who are serving in military here and all over the world. Bring healing to all those traumatized. May they have the medical help they need and the encouragement of others.

God, may all those who suffer from mental illness and trauma recognize it and get the understanding and help they need.

God, help all those bereaved. Comfort them, strengthen them. Give them your grace to live with passion in honour of those who have gone before them.

God we pray for world peace. God, help our world governments to negotiate peacefully. Guide them to work together to solve the world crisis and help the poor of every nation.

God, help everyone in the GTA to live in peace with each other. Help everyone to love and respect those different than themselves. Help us to see and honour the good everyone has within them. Help us to accept the good in ourselves!

Scriptures an Meditations:

Galatians 3:28.

So there is no difference between Jews and Gentiles,

 between slaves and free people, between men and women;

you are all one in union with Christ Jesus.

Hosea 6:3.

Oh, that we might know the LORD! Let us press on to know him.

He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn

or the coming of rains in early spring.

Philippians 4:7.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.

His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Thanks for praying with us!

All the best to you and yours!

October Prayer Blog 2021

Keep Loving, Empty Hands Music, click here!

Let's remember to be thankful for all the good things we have
and the opportunities that are given to us.

Let's be thankful for the abilities and the talents we have and use them to help others.

Let's show those close to us that we love them.

Till I Found You, Phil Wickham, click here!

Let's pray that God will pour out His love over our city.

Let's open our own hearts to love from God and others while we continue showing love through acts of kindness.

If you have trouble forgiving someone, then pray for them and the Holy Spirit will enable you to forgive.

Simple Gospel, Will Reagan, click here!

Let's pray that God will enable people in our city to open their
hearts to love and allow that to flow through them to those around them.

Let's pray that people everywhere will look with favor on those in need and feel the desire to help when they can.

Let's pray that all charitable organizations will receive the funding they need and have wisdom in their giving.

Let's ask that God guide us in our giving and in the volunteering of our time.

Let's be thankful for the spirituality we enjoy and continue to nurture that in our own lives.

Let's remember that love is always the guide and the key

in all things pertaining to this life including our relationships and our interactions with others.

What we are praying for:

God, raise up people to pray in every neighbourhood across Canada.

God help everyone to have the courage and wisdom they need to face life's changes and challenges. Help the lonely to find friends that are good for them. Help all to heal from past hurts and follow the right opportunities for them.

God, please pour out your spirit and inspire people in our communities to let you fill their hearts with your love. May they feel your presence and know you are real. Enable them to forgive and reach out to those around them with your love.

God, help us to learn how to live in a way that does not destroy the environment. Guide the world's governments how to clean the Earth and sustain it.

God, please help everyone in this city to live together in peace. Save and heal those who have suffered violence. Save and heal those who perpetrate the violence. Deliver them from the lies and help them to yield to your ways.

God, bring your healing to all those who are sick. Keep our hospitals a safe place for all within. Help the doctors and all health care workers to do their jobs with expertise and respect. May all who enter there get the care they need and be protected from harm and disease. Protect all our health care workers. Fill the hospitals and all medical care facilities with love, joy and peace.

Scriptures and meditations:

1 John 4:16. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

Isaiah 40: 31.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Romans 12:12.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Jeremiah 29: 11-13.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Proverbs 3: 5-6.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
