May Days, The coming of new life!

In May everything is blooming! Let's not miss it, especially after a cold, gray winter! Open your eyes to see and your heart to experience nature's awakening of her colour and form! Don't take for granted and don't miss the opportunities that make themselves available to you in your life every day.

We must not fear. We must remember that we are watched over, that we are loved and that as we love,
the opportunities to grow and learn and give will come to us.

The power of love is inside you to empower you!

God helps us by the Holy Spirit to be all that we were meant to be!

Boost your spiritual health!
Isaiah 40: 29-31
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion.
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

What we are praying for:

God, we pray for those who have lost loved ones due to disease, accident, acts of nature or acts of violence.
Please open their hearts to your love and forgiveness and help them to have the courage to live in honour of those they lost.
Help those injured to have the courage to face life's challenges and know they are loved.
May they get the help and encouragement they need.
May those who have lost their home find a better place and have the strength to adapt.
Help our health care system provide the help needed to those suffering mental illness.
Help  everyone to recognize those in distress and reach out to them before they become a danger to themselves or others.

Scriptures and meditations:

2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

Philippians 4:6-7.
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:16-17.
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit.
17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

Thank you for praying with us!
Continue to love and see hearts grow!
