breaks every chain of fear, hatred and ignorance. We are not overcome by evil. We overcome evil by doing good!

What we are praying for:

God, please pour out your spirit and inspire people in our communities to let you fill their hearts with your love. 
May they feel your presence and know you are real. Enable them to forgive and reach out to those around them with your love.

 

God, help us to love each other in our diversity. May everyone
celebrate our differences and be willing to learn from each other. 

 

God, help our nations to be at peace with each other. Grant our politicians the wisdom and motivation to work together for peace. Help everyone to live in peace with their neighbour no matter their race, religion or sexual orientation.

 

Scriptures and meditations:

1 Corinthians 13:4. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Ephesians 1:9-10. 9he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

Ephesians 3: 16-19, 6: 10-18. God's Holy Spirit strengthens you with inner strength

Romans 12: 21. We overcome evil by doing good.

Colossians 3: 11-17. Love binds us together in perfect harmony!

John 15:5. "Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
