December 2023

What a wonderful gift!

That God loves us so much, to be born in a human body like us to show us how to live and to share in our pain and then the ultimate, to die for us so we could live in eternity!

There is great darkness over the world still today,

God came to bring light and peace,

It's our stubbornness and the decisions of those hungry

for power that change the planet for the worst!

Isn't true spirituality to love others, give of your time to help others living on the planet? We were all born out of love. That is what we are and that should always be our motivation and intention in everything we do.

May the love of God, the peace of Christ and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit fill your hearts this Season!

A Condensed Version of the Nativity story in scriptures:

Luke 1: 30-32a. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.

Luke 3: 21-23. When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry.

Luke 4: 14. Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.

Luke 4: 40. At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.

Luke 23: 33. When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left.

Luke 24: 5, 6. "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!"

What we are praying for:

God, be with all those who are trapped by war or by natural disaster. Comfort and strengthen them. Save and heal them. May those displaced find refuge. May those trapped under debris be rescued quickly and safely.

God, move the hearts of the nations' leaders to seek peace with other nations and to stop all fighting. May they tend to their poor and sick and to the betterment of mankind.

God, bring your salvation and healing to our country. Help our government to be wise in dealings with other nations and stay at peace. Help our government to solve our poverty, homelessness and drug addiction.

God, bring your peace to all our city streets. Save those who are instigating violence and help them start a new life of love. Bring healing to all who are broken-hearted. Save and heal those injured from acts of violence and help them to forgive.

Thank you God, in Jesus' name.

Thank you for praying with us!

All the best to you and yours this season!
