This month's theme:
November is the month to remember our vets, those who
risked their lives for our freedom in past wars and those presently
doing so.
Let's also consider this month to pray for healing of
memories, that our vets and all people are healed of trauma and grief
and can receive joy from their memories of good times.
What we are praying
for:
God, protect our vets from violence, protect all our men
and women who are serving in military here and all over the world.
Bring healing to all those traumatized. May they have the medical
help they need and the encouragement of others.
God, may mental health and trauma be understood and be
attended to appropriately here in Canada and the U.S.
May all those who suffer recognize it and get the
understanding and help they need.
God, help all those bereaved. Comfort them, strengthen
them. Give them your grace to live with passion in honour
of those who have gone before them.
Pray for peace all over the world!
Remember the civilians in Syria and Iraq,
The refugees in Europe and around the world.
That all events are safe and that all have a great experience!
Pray for the health and welfare of our farmers and our food!

God, we pray for all the opening celebrations to this Season
that people throughout the GTA will not forget the true meaning of Christmas.
Scriptures:
Psalm 73:26. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Isaiah 53: 4-6. Surely He took up our pain and bore our suffering.
Joshua 1:9. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Psalm 34:18. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am that swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
~ Autumn Rain - Mary Frye, 1932
