What we are praying for:

Pray that people everywhere can feel that inner peace that strengthens and guides us no matter what our circumstances.

Pray that all know that God does exist in everyone of us, we just have to choose love in order for it's power to be released.

God, Help everyone find the true meaning of Christmas. Help us to feel loved and empower us to give love to those around us.

God, grant everyone the ability to dream and the courage to follow their dreams. Pour out your Spirit and give people the ability to hear your call and the courage to answer it.

God, help us to take better care of the planet you have given us. Help us to take better care of each other. Please save us from destruction. 

God, help us to live in peace with each other, in every home, in every city, in every country and between each country.

 

Scriptures and encouragements:

John 3:16. For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

God is the one who gave us our unique talents. We need not be afraid to share them. Let them shine! With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can manage our talents so God can generously minister through us to others. 1 Peter 4:10,11.

Ephesians 3: 16-17. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

 What we are praying for:

God, protect our vets from violence, protect all our men and women who are serving in military here and all over the world. Bring healing to all those traumatized. May they have the medical help they need and the encouragement of others.

God, may mental health and trauma be understood and be attended to appropriately here in Canada and the U.S.

May all those who suffer recognize it and get the understanding and help they need.

God, help all those bereaved. Comfort them, strengthen them. Give them your grace to live with passion in honour of those who have gone before them. 

God, help all charities to meet the needs of those they are serving. Help them to be creative in raising funds and be successful reaching their goals. Inspire people to give to their causes to meet the needs of those in need.

God, pour out your Spirit on our city and draw people to you. Give us a willing heart to yield to your Spirit so we can experience your healing.

God, watch over all those in our government, protect them and their families and guide them with your wisdom.

What we are praying for:

 

God, we pray that people everywhere during this season will feel a
strong sense of gratitude for their lives, for their talents, for their blessings and be freed to share love through them.

God, we pray that families will be reunited, restored and their hearts filled with peace and love. We pray that those who feel alone will find peace in their hearts and find family among friends. May those who have lost loved ones feel your peace and comfort and find joy in their memories especially during the seasonal times of celebration. Help those who have suffered loss of any kind to receive your comfort that heals and your light that brings clear direction.

  

God, help all authorities to make the right decisions concerning the Corona Virus Pandemic. Help all countries

to work together in stopping the spread of the virus and producing a vaccine.

God, help the authorities in each country to make the right decisions concerning systemic racism. Help them to listen to the people and solve the problems brought to them.

God, help our world leaders and governments to negotiate peacefully. Please help each government to work for the well being of the people of their country. Help each country to achieve peace in their streets and fairness in their government.

That's important that your stories be told so others can be encouraged themselves to continue their work, their life! He also said: “Enjoy tonight because tomorrow it's back to work.”

Artists must keep exploring and developing their talents and keep on looking for work, promoting themselves so their stories are heard. There were many great, awesome things said by those receiving awards. And over the years the impression I got from what people in the acting and arts professions have said is that artists are just ordinary people working hard! But of course, it's not work if you are doing what you love, what is your passion!

I woke up one morning and the things that came to my mind were this:

Life is a gift. We should allow ourselves to bloom and be proud! And when life happens and you get clipped back, blooms and all, that's the time to root yourself in and grow so you can continue developing your craft and open even bigger blooms that will amaze and inspire!!

The ones who get to the podium, who get the awards aren't always the most beautiful or talented. They are the ones who did not give up!

God, help our scientists to make a vaccine for the Corona Virus. Help the world's governments to work together to bring about the solution to stopping the spread and keeping it away.

God, inspire people in every neighbourhood to pray for the safety and well being of those of their community.
