October Prayer Blog 2021

Let's remember to be thankful for all the good things we have
and the opportunities that are given to us.

Let's be thankful for the abilities and the talents we have and use them to help others.

Let's show those close to us that we love them.

Let's pray that God will pour out His love over our city.

Let's open our own hearts to love from God and others while we continue showing love through acts of kindness.

If you have trouble forgiving someone, then pray for them and the Holy Spirit will enable you to forgive.

Let's pray that God will enable people in our city to open their
hearts to love and allow that to flow through them to those around them.

Let's pray that people everywhere will look with favor on those in need and feel the desire to help when they can.

Let's pray that all charitable organizations will receive the funding they need and have wisdom in their giving.

Let's ask that God guide us in our giving and in the volunteering of our time.

Let's be thankful for the spirituality we enjoy and continue to nurture that in our own lives.

Let's remember that love is always the guide and the key

in all things pertaining to this life including our relationships and our interactions with others.

Scriptures and meditations:

Ephesians 1:3. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

1 John 4:16. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.

Mathew 5:16.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Acts 2:16-17. No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

Thanks for praying with us!
