April brings us the beginning of newness of life. 

The air is refreshed, new plants are being birthed and Easter brings us the promise of life eternal. 

It may seem gloomy now, but sunshine is coming and colour will soon be popping up all over!!

Let the Easter Story lift your spirit!

Jesus showed us how to live.

He died for you and me.

Death could not hold him and he rose to life!

Those who are loving in life like him will be raised to life also!

The key is to let God's love in and then it will be revealed to you all that is true!

 

What we are praying for:

God, we pray that our neighbours experience refreshing this spring! May they never forget the amazement at creation and the excitement of discovery they had in their youth and that every day brings them new joys. Grant that they experience new birth in every area of their lives.

 Bring peace to our hearts and help us to be at peace with each other in our homes, our communities, our cities and between nations. May everyone know you are a Loving God. May those who are vulnerable and those who are poor have the provisions they need. May health care be accessible to all with respect.

Scriptures:

Hosea: 6:3. Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear;

he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”

John 7:37-39. All those who are thirsty, come to me and from within you rivers of living water shall flow out!

Romans 8: 11. If the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead live in you, you shall be raised to life in the same way!

John 3:16. God loved the world so much that he gave his own son to die for us, so that everyone who believes in him would not die but would be raised to eternal life to live with him forever!
